Elections to end with last phase

The sixteenth general elections will conclude today as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal will go for polling in the last phase. BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi who is contesting from Varanasi will also go for polling and security has been tighten at this constituency.

Around nine crore voters across three states will go for polling while 606 candidates are in fray for 41 Lok Sabha seats. However, all eyes are on Varanasi and all the main political parties have put their efforts to defeat Narendra Modi here.

AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal is up against Modi and he is expected to give tough competition to him. Varanasi local candidate Ajay Rai who is contesting from the Congress party is banking heavily on the muslim and minority votes. Hindus and Minorities have 40 percent share of votes and this is going to be a neck-to-neck battle.
