Employees to get 27% IR

The state government has accepted for 27 percent of Interim Relief (IR) to the employees and this will come in effective right away. Employees unions have held discussions with CM Kiran Kumar Reddy in the afternoon today and finally the government gave nod for 27 percent of IR. Unions have asked for 32 percent but government did not accept the proposal and Finance Minister Anam referred Unions to meet CM.

CM Kiran too did not accept for IR from July with 27 percent and instead he offered the same percentage of IR from January 2014. Rupees 7, 683 crore additional burden will fall on government with this. Quite a few unions are unhappy with percent while few Unions have expressed their happiness. Employees Unions also thanked FM Anam for his help.
