APNGO's Association President Ashok Babu said that the elections of the APNGO's Association are being held just for the name sake.  Ashok Babu attending Maha Soura Yagam at Arasavelli Sun Temple in Srikakulam District said after the performance of special pooja conducted in the temple that the elections of APNGO’s Association are only nominal formality.

He said that Chalo Assembly program will be held when the discussions start on the state bifurcation in the Assembly.

He said on Wednesday that the Samaikyandhra movement will not get disturbed with the elections of APNGO.  He visited Srikakulam on Wednesday as part of the campaigning for the APNGO’s Association elections.  He said that the movement will continue irrespective of the result of the elections that will be held on January 5.

He said that all party meeting will be arranged on 27th or 28th as Assembly sessions are going to be restarted on January 3.  He also said that the affidavits from the MLAs and signatures from the villages will be gathered to submit to the President, Governor and the Speaker of the Assembly.
