Doctors Indefinite Strike After Cabinet Note

Government Doctors of 13 districts of Seemandhra region said that they would go on indefinite strike if Cabinet Note is put up.

All the doctors of 13 districts met in the compound of the Government hospital in Vijayawada.  The President of the State Government Doctors JAC Tanguturi Ramamohan spoke on the occasion said that the Seemandhra region will be put a great loss to the medical profession.  He said that the doctors who want to go for higher studies taking specialty subjects will face problems.   Ramamohan says, as good colleges and hospitals are centered in the capital city of Hyderabad, Rayalseema students are the worst hit.

Ramamohan said that as doctors in emergency duties they have not totally abandoned their duties but to support the Samaikyandhra movement, they have been observing for one hour daily.  If the doctors go on strike only the patients of the region will suffer.  That is the reason why they are limiting their strike only for one hour.  But, he warns, there will be serious repercussions if the Government goes ahead with the process of bifurcation.

The secretary of the JAC Dr.Ganapati Rao said that everyone should fight against the forces that are working in dividing the Telugu speaking people.

The doctors sang samaikyandhra songs in which everyone joined to croon along.
