Kate Middleton, wife to prince William, is in labor and has been admitted to the hospital. The Duchess of Cambridge will soon be mother to the next in line for Britain's throne.

As per reports from the Kensington Palace, the Duchess is in the early stages of labor. Until now, Kate's due date was never formally announced. This birth would also reveal the gender of the royal child.

Media personnel and press from all over the world have parked themselves outside St Mary's hospital to catch a glimpse of the mother to be. However, it has been announced that there would be no more updates until the birth.

The Duke of Cambridge, William, will have a paternity leave for 2 weeks and the next time the couple appears will be with the newborn in their hands. With Kate Middleton admitted, the royal family and the world's media are waiting for the good news.
