Imp to AP in railway budget, promises Kotla

Kotla  Jaya Surya Prakash Reddy, who took the charge as the minister of state for railways, was in Tirupati today. The minister has said that Andhra Pradesh has been facing disappointment every year in the annual railway budget. He has even said that he would ensure that the same doesn't repeat this year and promised that due importance would be given to Andhra Pradesh in the railway budget. Additional railway lines and trains would be allotted to the state, said minister. Further, he said that Tirupati station would be developed further.

It is known that every year Andhra Pradesh got very little whenever railway budget was produced. The observers said that minister himself agreed to this. When Congress led UPA was at centre and Congress at state, why is that Andhra Pradesh didn't get due importance in railway budget, question observers.
