Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal has said that Congress MP Chiranjeevi would soon be get a cabinet berth at the centre. He has also said that centre has already delayed this matter. Lagadapati, who has recently attended a private party in Chittoor has told that Chiranjeevi would be given a cabinet minister post during the expansion of the cabinet.

The political observers have said that Lagadapati was reportedly feeling a threat from Chiranjeevi as he was expecting CM post whereas Congress high command was apparently thinking to make Chiranjeevi the chief minister of the state. In fact, not just political observers but scores of aam aadmi (who are important to Congress party) want Chiranjeevi as the chief minister of the state, they added. So, they said even if cabinet post is offered to Chiru, it would not solve the turmoil in Congress party in the state. They even mentioned that Congress high command may put aside the thought of making Chiru the central minister and will be making him the chief minister.
