It looks like YSR Congress party now wants to exert pressure on government on several burning issues of the state. After a protest against the government's insensitive approach towards the problems of hand-loom weavers, the party's honorary president is now concentrating on the fee reimbursement issue. YS Vijayamma has said that she would be staging a protest on August 12 and 13 at Eluru demanding the government for implementing the fee reimbursement scheme.

YS Vijayalakshmi has also demanded that the government should increase the mess allowances to the SC and ST students. It has to be mentioned here that the state government has provided heavy security to Vijayamma's protest in Sircilla the other day and drew a lot of criticism. One has to wait and watch whether government is once again going to provide so much of security to Vijayamma.
