Raids at pvt travels following Shirdi bus accident

In the wake of Shirdi bus accident, the RTA officials have conducted raids on several offices of private travels. Acting on the instructions of the chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy (who took the accident seriously), the officials visited several offices and have gone through certain key documents. It is known that 30 persons were killed and several injured when a private bus from Hyderabad-Shirdi fell off the bridge in Sholapur on Saturday.

Following this incident, officials cracked whip on private tour operators. Raids were conducted at Kesineni travels, Kaleshwari travels, SVR travels and other companies and ascertained that over nine companies didn't have permission to operate private buses.
