Ponnala Lakshmaiah attends CBI inquiry

Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah has reached the CBI office in Koti of Hyderabad for CBI inquiry. The CBI sleuths reportedly started questioning Ponnala Lakshmaiah in connection with Jagan’s illegal assets case and the subsequent controversial GOs issued. Ponnala Lakshmaiah has brought certain files with him pertaining to water allotment. Also, the others who appeared before the CBI for inquiry today include the representatives from Bharati Cements and IAS officer Adityanath Das.

The sources said that several key officials in the irrigation department received call from CBI to attend the inquiry. It may be noted that Ponnala Lakhmaiah was the minister of major irrigation during YSR regime and he allegedly signed certain GOs that reportedly benefitted certain companies, which in turn made their investments-as a gratitude-in companies run by Jaganmohan  Reddy.
