Improvement exams for Inter II yr students this year: Board

The Board of Intermediate Education has given a chance to the intermediate second year students to write improvement examinations for the students in order to calm down the agitating students who were demanding the board for grace marks in Physics second year paper as the 26 per cent of candidates failed in the exam.

The board has said that this would be a one time chance and would apply only for this year. It may be noted that improvement examination is something like supplementary examination but the difference is that a passed candidate can appear for the examination and improve his marks. This improvement examination chance is given to only intermediate first year students. Now that the students are pressing the board for grace marks, the board agreed to conduct improvement exam. Otherwise, second year students will not have this option.

The best part of the decision is that the board will not only conduct just Physics improvement exam but for other subjects too. Therefore, it’s undoubtedly a good chance for all students to improve marks. (Phani)
