The PCC chief Bothsa Satyanarayana has said that there was no link between bifurcation of state and by-polls. He has made these statements in the wake of rumours that are in the air. Bothsa has said that a few people were spreading news that the Congress would decide on Telangana state issue only after looking at the by-polls results and there was no truth in that news. Irrespective of results, they would take the responsibility.
It has to be mentioned here that several Congress leaders have been making these statements. The suspended MPs ruled out link between by-polls and T, later the Congress leader Renuka Chowdhary made the same statement followed by senior leader V Hanumantha Rao. And now Bothsa Satyanaraya came out with the same old statement.
It looks like the Congress high command has asked the leaders to clarify on the rumours and every leader is saving the same statement every other day. May be the high command wanted the state leaders to clarify once and the lack of coordination between the leaders apparently making them give individual statements on every other day on the same subject.
