Harish Rao visits TDLP office, seeks support for T state

TRS MLA Mr Harish Rao, who would never miss an opportunity to attack TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu, sprang a surprise today by visiting the Telugu Desam Legislature party office in the assembly premises.

He met some of the TDP legislators there and told them that TRS was ready to work with Chandrababu Naidu in case he decided in favour of the separate state. Harish Rao’s sudden visit to their office has surprised many of the TDP MLAs but they preferred to interact with him to respond to his good will gesture.

He also told journalists present there that the political stocks of the TDP Telangana Forum Convener Errabelli Dayakara Rao would go up if the reports of his resignation are true.

Nagam barges towards CM

In another unusual development, independent MLA Mr Nagam Janardhan Reddy today barged towards Chief Minister Kirankumar Reddy while the latter was speaking in the assembly and interrupted his speech.

“Are you not compassionate enough to introduce the Telangana resolution in the assembly? At least show some humanity,” he told a stunned Kirankumar reddy.

T issue rocks Assembly

Earlier, Speaker Nadendla Manohar adjourned the assembly twice following the pandemonium created by the TRS, BJP and TDP Telangana Forum members.

The members barged into the Speaker’s podium demanding a resolution on Telangana formation and raising pro-Telangana slogans. As he couldn’t run the house, the Speaker adjourned the proceedings twice.

The Speaker rejected adjournment motions for which notices were given by the opposition members. (J)
