TDP vitriolic attacks push TRS to defensive corner

The TDP Telangana Forum leaders seemed to have scored over TRS leaders, albeit temporarily, by succeeding in pushing them to the defensive corner through their series of vitriolic attacks.

The TDP has cleverly launched a two-pronged attack on the TRS and its modus operandi is very much clear.

While on one side, TDP leaders of its Telangana Forum have taken up the job of demoralizing the TRS leaders through their offensive statements, party chief Chandrababu Naidu has been undertaking Yatras in the Telangana region with the clear aim of getting closer to the Telangana people and making inroads into the TRS vote banks.

The TDP leaders have been systematically continuing with their attacks on TRS and its chief KCR as soon as the all people’s strike in Telangana had evaporated into thin air two months ago.

TDP firebrand leader Revanth reddy had accused KCR of pledging the Telangana agitation for the sake of Polavaram tenders. KCR failed to give a proper explanation to the allegations that he went to Delhi without informing any other Telangana leader and also without any invitation from the Delhi bigwigs at a time when the agitation was at its peak.

TDP leaders alleged that KCR had secretly met the senior congress leaders in Delhi and come to an understanding on watering down the agitation. Truly, soon after KCR’s visit to Delhi, the all people’s strike had ended abruptly.

Again, a week ago, another TDP stalwart Mr Motkupalli Narasimhulu charged KCR with killing the innocent youth of the Telangana in the name of Telangana agitation. He particularly referred to the alleged suicides of Yadaiah and Srikanthachari and called them cold blooded murders perpetrated at the instance of KCR.

Narasimhulu also wanted to under take a two-day fast to mock at the KCR’s fast unto death two years ago.  Police however foiled his fasting plans by arresting him at the fasting venue. However, Narasimhulu, who launched his no-holds-barred verbal attacks on KCR and his bandwagon, has hit upon another idea.

He has collected the medical documents from the NIMS which treated KCR during his indefinite fast two years ago and released them to the press saying that any one on earth would fast indefinitely if such a treatment is given by doctors.

Gone joins attacks

Former RTC chairman Gone Prakash Rao has also threatened to leak the medial documents which would expose the secret behind the KCR’s indefinite fast two years ago.

Surprisingly, the TRS chief and his right hand men are observing a studied silence as they don’t know how to reject the allegations.  (JUBS)
