The Kavali judicial magistrate Mr Mahammad Nazeer today extended the remand of the Heem International director and the multilevel marketing fraudster Mr Prabhakar till tomorrow.
Mr Prabhakar has been remanded to judicial custody after his recent arrest by the Nellore district police for duping thousands of customers in the name of multi level marketing which was a banned business activity in AP.
After his remand, police sought his custody for interrogating him. However, the police custody ended today and the CBCID officials, who are investigating the racketeer, has sought his custody for another ten days.
The court adjourned the hearing on the CBCID petition to Friday and sent him to judicial remand till the petition is disposed off tomorrow. He was then shifted to the Markapuram jail.
