TDP chief and former chief minister Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu said today that the YSR Congress party led by Kadapa congress MP Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy will soon merge with the congress party. “Jagan will soon follow the footsteps of mega star Chiranjeevi,” he said sounding sarcastic about Jagan.

Addressing media persons during his tour in the Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district, Naidu said the Jagan party is bound to merge with the congress like the mega-star led PRP. “If not sooner, later, but his party will merge with congress ultimately,” said the TDP supremo.

Naidu, who arrived this morning in Nellore on a 3-day tour of the district to highlight the farmers’ problems and create awakening among them, said there was a clear change in the tone, style and functioning of Jagan after his recent visit to Delhi. “He stopped criticizing the congress party and upped his ante against the TDP only,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

Claiming that the only political party that was fighting against the congress was the TDP, the former chief minister said that newly born parties would always merge with the congress party. He said that the late chief minister YSR patronized hundreds of mafia dons like Gali Janardhan reddy and earned illegal money for his son.

“Even Lord Kalahasteeswara doesn’t equal Gali Janardhan Reddy in the quantum of properties,” he said. “It is all people’s money,” he said.
