Rohit Sharma create history at Eden

India's Rohit Sharma has created history at Eden Gardens by scoring a doubling hundred and become the first batsmen to score two double centuries in ODIs. Captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first. Though India made a quick start, two wickets with short gap of Rahane and Rayudu, put the hosts in back foot. However, Rohit and Kohli continued to tick the score and it was the third PowerPlay option that changed the entire course of the game. Rohit and Kohli started attacking Sri Lanka bowlers. Rohit Sharma has completed his century and was racing towards double ton while Kohli completed his half century.

There was no stopping Rohit Sharma, who was blasting Sri Lankan bowlers all around the ground. In 44th over, Rohit reach the 200 mark and in the 48th over, he completed 250. At 264 score, Rohit was dismissed for the last ball of the Indian innings and the total score was 404. India is also the only country to post 400 plus scores for five team.

In reply, Sri Lanka never looked in the game. Four top order batsmen were removed in the first ten over and it was just matter of time for Sri Lanka batsmen to finish their innings. SL captain Angelo Mathews, Thirimanne were the only batsmen who faced Indian bowlers and scored half centuries.

With this win, India are 4-0 and are looking for a whitewash.
