Virat ton seals series

Virat Kohli is back in form with a super ton against West Indies in the fourth ODI at Dharmasala which also sealed the series for the hosts as the visitors decided to withdraw series. West Indies won the toss and elected to field first. Indian openers gave a good start to the side with a half century stand.  However, just when Shikhar Dhawan was looking to swing his bat, he was dismissed for a short-pitch delivery by Andre Russel. Another opener Rahane completed half century in the meantime but failed to score a century as he was out at 68 runs. It was Virat Kohli who took on the West Indian bowlers along with Suresh Raina and kept the scoreboard ticking. In the end, India finished with 330 runs on the board.

Chasing the massive total, West Indian batsman were never in the game. It was one and only Marlon Samuels who fought with Indian bowlers and scored second ton of the series. Darren Bravo and Russel also helped WI a bit but it wasn't quite enough to chase such a huge total. West Indies were bowled out for 271 runs and Indian won by 59 runs.

Before the start of the match, all West Indian players came to the ground and captain Dwayne Bravo announced that they are pulling out of the series with payment dispute between the players and West Indies Cricket Board [WICB].

Scores: India: 330/6, Virat Kohli 127, S Raina 71, A Rahane 68
     WI: 271 Allout, M Samuels 112, B Kumar 2/25, A Patel 2/26
