Argentina, Belgium in last 8

Argentina and Belgium have reached the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup 2014 with win over Switzerland and United States respectively. All the four team fought tough for the berth in the quarters but two teams were lucky.

Coming to the Argentina and Switzerland match, no team scored a goal till the full time. Then the referees extended the match time by half-an-hour. Just when the extra time is getting over, Angel Di Maria scored goal for Argentina at the 118th minute and the two minutes later he was rewarded with Yellow card. Maria's chances of missing quarters is worry for Argentina now.

In the Belgium and United States, the same scenario repeated. How Belgium did not waste much time in the extra half-an-hour. Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku scored goals for Belgium in the 93rd and 105th minute. United States tried its best and Julian Green struck at the 107th minute. From here Belgium and US played aggressively and defended their goal post quite strongly. Eventually Belgium was on the winning side.
