Cyclist Aditya Mehta Reached Hyderabad

Aditya Mehta who started an expedition on Cycle from Kashmir to Kanyakumari reached Hyderabad today. Aditya Mehta who is a recipient of Gold in Asia Para Cycling started his journey on cycle from Kashmir on 7th November.

He was flagged off for his onward journey to Kanyakumari from here by Chandana Khan, Chief Secretary of Tourism and GHMC Commisioner Somesh Kumar. Aditya Mehta said that he will reach Kanyakumari by 13th of this month.

He has taken up the cycling journey to promote sports in the country. He reached Hyderabad exactly on the day as per his plan of journey announced and posted on his website.

Aditya Mehta is a physically disabled person whose right leg is amputated above his knee. He wants to raise funds to help other physically challenged people discover joy of sport the way he did after the accident he met with that made him handicapped.
