Ethically wrong to for an Indian coach to run pvt academy

The Bombay High Court has observed that Indian Badminton national coach Pullela Gopi Chand running a private academy was ethically not correct. The court said it was not in the best interest of the public. Chief Justice Mohit Shah and Justice AV Mohta has said that Badminton Coach should not run a private camp although he might be a good coach.

Acting on a petition filed by 19-year-old Prajakta Sawant, the court observed that running a sports academy by national coach was wrong. The court has also sought a reply from the Badminton Authority of India. The court posted the hearing to December 19. In her petition, Prajakta Sawant mentioned that Pullela Gopichand developed grudge against her as she asked him to change the partners of doubles and mixed doubles.
