BCCI mediates for ending dissent in Team India

United we stand - Divided we fall. In  spite of knowing this since age six, when we all learnt in our schooling… why do we not solve differences with a sitting.. Why do we harness hatred?

The Board of Cricket Control in India has stepped in as a big brother to weed out the differences emerged between the players. The seniors, especially Gautam Gambhir and Virendra Sehwag have vehemently slammed the captain Mahender Singh Dhoni over the rotation policy reasons. Now the BCCI on Thursday intervened on the issue and asked Dhoni and Sehwag to hold a joint media conference. This would be an end to the controversies that are being speculated widely across the media.

Sources say that   that board secretary Sanjay Jagdale spoke to both Dhoni and Sehwag Thursday and asked them to quickly sort out the issues. They could address a joint press conference to clear the issues. The controversy sparked as the Captain voiced that the seniors, Gambhir, Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar would be rested on turns to accommodate younger players. He also added later that the rotation policy was in place as the seniors fielded badly and cost the team an average of twenty more runs. This was severely condemned by the two seniors, while Sachin as usual was silent.

A small advice to Team India, as per History: Indian Civilization is the oldest civilization and it had never gone out for invading any other country. So we the cricket fans would like to tell the team that we do not want you to win all the matches, while winning is important, it is not the only thing in sports. The most important aspect of sports is team spirit. Let us all strive to upkeep team spirit, winning will follow naturally. - AarKay
