LG gets Android Lollipop

LG Electronics will be the first global manufacturer to offer the latest version of Android 5.0, Lollipop in Poland and later it will extend to the remaining regions where the market has grip. Lollipop will be available in G3 smartphones and additional updates will be provided to LG users regarding upgrading the new operating system.

There are whole new features in Android including new design, with depth shadows and animation. A new security feature to strengthen the connectivity between devices will include enabling users to unlock their smartphone when it is physically near a pre-registered Bluetooth device such as the LG G Watch or G Watch R. Lollipop also introduces Android Runtime (ART) software to improve performance.

Google has already rolled out Lollipop in its latest Nexus 6 smartphone. The phone is available in India for Rs 44,000.
