Blackberry launches Passport in India

The Canadian smartphone maker Blackberry has launched its latest gadget Passport in India at an expensive price. The phone will be available from October 10 and can be pre-ordered via Amazon. The price of Passport is Rs 49,990 only.

The Blackberry Passport caught the attention with its design and is exactly the size of passport. The screen is 4.5 inches with 1440x1440 resolution while the phone comes with 10.3 OS. The other important features of the Passport include a quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 64GB via microSD. The phone has 13 MP rear camera.

The phone which was released earlier this month in US and Europe nations, got mixed reviews and was criticised for bold shape. Many opined that the phone can't fit in a pocket and also can't be handled single handed. We have to see how Passport makes its mark in the India market.
