Latest from the Apple stables

After iPods and iPhones, the next gadget from the Apple Inc stables seems to be an iWatch. The global major had applied for a patent to trademark the product in Japan. This is a device users can wear and flaunt.

After the Japan Patent Office announced the application, speculation is strong that iWatch is being prepared for launch very soon. Wearable devices are touted to be the next fad, after the popularity of iPhones decline further. Apple's rival in the smartphone category, Samsung, has also plans to develop wearable computers in the guise of wrist watches.

These pioneering products would operate on a platform similar to iOS and would be manufactured with  curved glass.

Recently, Google had introduced Glass, which is a combination of a portable computer and eyeglasses. This segment looks to have immense potential in the future.
