Vaiko quits NDA

Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam [MDMK] has quit Narendra Modi led National Democratic Alliance [NDA] government, accusing BJP of acting against the interests of Tamils. MDMK called for a high level meeting in Chennai and moved a resolution to quit the NDA government which joined hands during the 2014 annual elections.

MDMK chief Vaiko has criticised Modi government on a number of issues and also opposed the support to Sri Lanka nation. Vaiko also condemned Sri Lanka president Rajapaksa's visit to Tirupathi.
