A most wanted Achik National Cooperative Army [ANCA] militant was arrested in Tamil Nadu along with his aide. William A Sangma, a self-styled commander of the ANCA and his close associate Alas R Sangma were arrested from Chinakkarai in Tirupur district of Tamil Nadu on Tuesday.
William is the most wanted militant who escaped from Mendipathar police up in August last. The police detained them in a readymade garment manufacturing factory. Before that the police arrested, another aide of William and based on his lead, the police have arrested the prime militant.
