Karnataka's leading new channels TV9 and News 9 were reportedly blocked in Karnataka state from Monday night. According to the sources, the channel exposed a major on Siddaramaiah government at 9: 30 PM and state's energy minister DK Shivakumar issued a directive to cable operators and within no time, the streaming of channel was blocked.
Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah remained unavailable to comment on this. TV9 had ran into trouble in Telangana state when they made derogatory statements on Telangana Legislators. The channel had to go to tribunal and the streaming was restored couple of weeks back. Now the channel is facing the heat of Karnataka government.
