Union minister loses baggage

Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman lost her baggage on an Air India flight as her checked in luggage went missing on her way to Australia. Nirmala is travelling to Cairns to attend G20 meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors on the weekend.

"Landed in Sydney to take a connecting flight to Cairns. My checked in luggage not traceable," posted Nirmala in her twitter account after landing in Sydney in the morning. After an hour she again tweeted that all her formal wears are in the missing baggage and was worried whether she cant get saris in Cairns.

However, Air India reported that they have found the misplaced luggage and will handover to Nirmala in next six hours.
