Universal hero Kamal Haasan was hospitalised due to food poison. Kamal was immediately rushed to Apollo hospital in Chennai and a special team of doctors are treating him. As per the sources, Kamal is recovering from the food poison and might be discharged from the hospital in the evening.

Kamal's partner Gautami is heard to be accompanying him at the time of admitting him in the hospital. The doctors are also expected to report to media regarding Kamal's health and his condition. The versatile actor is currently has Vishwaroopam 2 and Uttama Villan in pipeline which are awaiting for release.
