The Telangana Congress party has suspended former minister Fareeduddin for six years. As per the Disciplinary committee, Fareeduddin is heard to be working against the interest of party. But the real reason is, Fareed has not been in good terms with Zaheerabad MLA and former minister Geetha Reddy.  As the internal fight grew, Geetha has complained against Fareed.

Fareed represented Zaheerabad in 2004 and also was a cabinet member during YSR tenure. But in 2009, Zaheerabad was alloted to reserve and so he was to Amberpet. However he lost the elections. Will Fareed take up TRS flag or will wait for his suspension to get over, is something we have to see.
