Tamil actor Dhandapani died on Sunday following a cardiac arrest. Dhandapani shot to fame with Premisthe [Kaadhal in Tamil] and Krishna [Ravi Teja] though he featured in over 160 films in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages.

Dhandapani reported uneasiness and was rushed to the nearest hospital. The doctors have declared him dead before he reached the hospital. Media manager of Dhandapani released a press statement reporting Dhandapani's death. Kollywood was shocked on hearing this news. The 71 year old actor is survived by three sons and one daughter.
