Shreyas enters Sandalwood

While Tollywood (Telugu film industry) was busy importing girls from Mumbai and Bollywood to play love interests opposite top heroes in the industry, Sandalwood (Kannada film industry) seemed to have good number of heroines and that's why they are now in search of Bollywood heroes to play lead roles in their in their movies. After Nana Patekar and Jackie Shroff, it's Shreyas Talpade (who appeared in Golmaal 3) who will enact a lead role in Kannada.

The film sources said that this movie would be made simultaneously in Kannada, Telugu and Hindi. Shreyas will play an important role in Kannada version. Tarun and son of Mithun Chakravarthy, Mimoh will be donning importance roles in Telugu and Hindi versions respectively. When asked about his views on Kannada film industry, Shreyas apparently said he knew nothing about the industry. He said all he liked was the script, which was so impressive. He said he would even give his own dubbing for the film.
