John gets Bipasha off the cast in 'Shootout at Wadala'
John Abraham had reportedly asked the makers of Shootout at Wadala (SAW)to drop out Bips from the cast of the movie. Bipasha Basu, his former girlfriend, had made acerbic comments about his unloyal behavior in their 9 year long relationship.
In SAW, Bipasha signed up for a cameo role plaing Chitra, who was to star in an Item song for the movie. She is the lover of Sabir, the brother of Dawood Ibrahim in the movie. In this exciting movie, Manya Surve is the character played by John who happens to be a gangster who bumps off Sabir.
Contrary to the audiences expectation of romance and chemistry between the duo after the news that the old couple are back in a film again, John had reportedly requested the makers to find another actress to substitute her role.
But how important is his request? Very! The tradition of the hero gets what he demands for in the movie still continues. And surprisingly just a few, not even all the elite members, of the crew knew of this change. When they were asked if the news making its rounds was just a rumor they said that they knew nothing of Bipasha being estranged.
