RGV bhai removed from Deparment?
The Censor Board nodded the appeal of Mumbai Police and accepted to remove the a song from Ram Gopal Varma’s Department film. The much awaited flick is scheduled to be released this Friday and the board has specially screened the movie and invited the Additional Commissioner of Police, Devan Bharti to the film.
Mr. Devan reportedly attended the screening and objected a song which refers Mumbai cops as bhais. The song goes this way….Mumbai Police Sabka Bhai….the commissioner who objected the word apparently asked the board to remove bhai and the board in turn asked the commissioner to give his objection in writing. After writing an objection letter to the board, the board agreed to remove that song from Department film.
Ram Gopal Varma who later arrived at the board reportedly elucidated that the song had a connection with the movie but the censor board presumably seemed to be helpless. All in all, it looks like Ram Gopal Varma is much disappointed much before the release of the film.
