Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna, daughter of Telugu veteran actor Mohanbabu. The father is well known for his versatility and the daughter growing out of her father’s shadow has marked a niche for herself in the Media arena. Unlike her brothers she has a unique identity and is self branded. Foraying in to the small screen, as Andhra Oprah, has conquered a million hearts of Telugu people across the continents. Later she won accolades for her role in Anaganaga O Dheerudu. And from there was no looking back for this self established star.

And now the young lady is into everything in the tinsel world. She is a star in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, producers too and probably shall offer the directorial touch too, shortly. Let us hope she meets success in all her endeavors. Earlier she has to her credit two American Television series Las Vegas and Desperate Housewives. In 2006, she acted, directed, and produced Perfect Lives, a short film that was accepted and screened at the Wilshire Fine Arts Theater as part of the La Femme Film Festival in Los Angeles.
