Rajnikanth's superhit in Telugu!
Yesteryear's block buster Murattu Kaalai with Superstar Rajnikanth and Rathi was remade in Tamil with Sunder C as the hero and Sneha paired with him. This film was directed by Selvabharathy. Comedian Vivek also played a prominent role in this film. The buzz in Tollywood is that this film is going to be dubbed in Telugu. The film was a hit in Tamil in the both the versions due to the music topping the charts and fights featuring abundantly. Music was scored by Srikanth Deva.

Director Selvabharathi vests the characters in Murattu Kaalai with behavioural patterns that are different from the earlier film, a racy action drama directed by S. P. Muthuraman. Though they have not necessarily made it better. Sumalatha, who played the villain's sister in the original, was a picture of dignity. Here the outfits and the overtures of Sindhu Tolani will woo the front benches. Sindhu has done an excellent job of being a glamor doll.

Tollywood sources say that Korrapati Venkateswara Rao will be producing the Telugu version of the films. And the movie is slated for release in August. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
