LS Polls: Revanth Reddy confident of winning 14 seats:- The Congress party, led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and TPCC chief, is resolute in its goal of securing victory in 14 out of the 17 Lok Sabha seats in the state. During a meeting with Congress leaders and cadre from the Chevella Lok Sabha constituency, Revanth Reddy criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for neglecting Telangana. He emphasized that the upcoming elections would serve as a referendum on the Congress government's performance over the past 100 days. Revanth Reddy questioned how BJP leaders could ask for votes in Telangana when they had neglected the state for a decade. Revanth Reddy proceeded to highlight various instances where Modi had allegedly failed to support Telangana. For instance, he claimed that Modi did not grant national status to the Palamuru-Rangareddy project or ensure its completion. Additionally, he accused Modi of not extending the MMTS train up to Vikarabad, despite being able to initiate the bullet train project in Gujarat. Revanth Reddy also criticized Modi for not providing funds for the Musi riverfront development project, contrasting this with the development of the Sabarmati riverfront in Gujarat, which received financial assistance. Despite Revanth Reddy's request, Modi did not respond positively to extending central financial assistance to the Musi development project. కాంగ్రెస్ బలోపేతమై మనందరి లక్ష్యం… pic.twitter.com/xEGuh8Uzd8 — Revanth Reddy (@revanth_anumula) March 26, 2024 Revanth Reddy also accused the BJP of hindering the progress of the Hyderabad Regional Ring Road (RRR) project. KTR calls Modi as the greatest danger for India March 27, 2024 13:48

KTR calls Modi as the greatest danger for India:- According to K.T. Rama Rao, the working president of BRS and brother of BRS MLC K. Kavitha who was recently imprisoned in the Delhi liquor scam case, Prime Minister Narendra Modi poses a significant threat to India. Rama Rao expressed his concerns during the Assembly elections, stating that there were deliberate efforts to suppress and intimidate them. Now, he believes that these fears have become a reality. Rama Rao further highlighted the diversity that once existed in India, with a Muslim serving as President and a Sikh as Prime Minister. During that time, the Hindu community felt secure. However, the current scenario is different, as there is a Hindu Prime Minister, a Hindu President, and a Hindu Chief Minister. Rama Rao noted that the BJP now claims that "India is in danger, the Hindu is in danger," but he believes that the real danger lies in the BJP itself. Rama Rao also criticized the BJP for using government agencies such as the ED, CBI, and I-T as tools for political gain. He referred to this tactic as "Sikhandi politics," and emphasized the need for the BJP to be taught a lesson. In his view, democracy is at stake, and the BJP's actions are contributing to the peril that India currently faces. Rama Rao expressed his belief that their victory in the Lok Sabha elections from Secunderabad, along with the success of BRS candidate T Padma Rao Goud, would mark the beginning of their triumph. He made these remarks during a gathering of party members from the Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency at the BRS headquarters. Rama Rao further commented that Modi seemed threatened by strong regional leaders and was attempting to silence the entire opposition. His actions conveyed a desire to be the sole contender in the race. Rama Rao also mentioned that leaders like KCR, Kejriwal, and Mamata possessed the courage to stand up against Modi, unlike the Congress. During the Assembly polls, Congress had claimed that Kavitha was not being arrested due to the alliance between BJP and BRS. However, Rama Rao pointed out that she was not arrested at that time because there was a case in the Supreme Court, which resulted in a stay order. He perceived her recent arrest as an act of revenge by the ED, who went to Kavitha's house to apprehend her. (Video Source: BRS Party)

Raghurama Krishna Raju to contest as MLA from TDP:- Narasapuram's incumbent MP, K Raghurama Krishna Raju (RRR), is now turning to the TDP for hope since he was unable to secure a BJP ticket. He has expressed his desire to run for office either in the Undi Assembly constituency or the Vizianagaram Lok Sabha seat. Raghurama Krishna Raju made it clear that he will be running for re-election in the Narsapuram Lok Sabha constituency under the banner of either the TDP, BJP, or Jana Sena. Having established close relationships with all three parties, Raghurama is confident that any one of them will grant him a ticket. It has been reported that he resigned from the YSRCP and his MP position recently. Reliable sources have indicated that he was originally planning to join the TDP in February, but ultimately decided against it in order to pursue a candidacy with the BJP. On the other hand, Raghurama is now making allegations that YSRCP leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, in collusion with former BJP State president Somu Veerraju, conspired to prevent him from securing the BJP seat. As part of the alliance between the TDP, JSP, and BJP, the BJP has already finalized its candidates for six MP seats in Andhra Pradesh. After the subsequent negotiations, the BJP emerged victorious in Rajampeta, leaving the seat vacant. As a result, the TDP secured the Vizianagaram seat. According to reliable sources, the TDP plans to nominate Raghurama Krishna Raju as their candidate for Vizianagaram. The party believes that Raghurama, who has always fought against Jagan Mohan Reddy's corrupt practices as a rebel MP for YSRCP, should be elected as an MP. A senior TDP leader confirmed that Raghurama also played a significant role in the legal battle in New Delhi following Chandrababu Naidu's arrest, and the party is committed to standing by him. Raghurama's supporters are actively campaigning in Bhimavaram, assuring the people that he will meet Chandrababu Naidu and officially join the TDP within the next two days. It was already evident that the BJP would secure the Narasapuram Lok Sabha seat and nominate B Srinivasa Varma as their candidate. Neither Raghurama nor the TDP oppose this decision by the BJP. In case the TDP cannot offer him a ticket to contest from the Vizianagaram Lok Sabha constituency, the party leadership is preparing to provide Raghurama with an opportunity to be elected as an MLA from the Undi constituency.
