The ED emphasized that both interim bail and fixed term bail are subject to strict provisions under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The court is scheduled to hear her interim bail application on April 1. Kavitha's lawyer also sought permission under Section 19(2) of the PMLA Regulations to physically inspect the documents submitted by the authorities under sealed covers.
