Director Puri Jagannath, who recently threw out his team, finally brought in his son Akash Puri to assist him, in the direction. It is known that, a team of about 25 people, who were working under Puri Jagannath since long, were threw out, after the fast track director felt that, the team lost co-ordination among themselves. Director Puri is currently re-filling his office with the new team, and to the surprise, even Akash has joined the team, to assist his father.Akash recently worked as a hero in Andhra Pori movie. But unfortunately, as the movie could not well at the box office, Puri reportedly suggested him to take a break of at least 3 years to come onto the screen as a hero. But Akash, who is unwilling to take a gap, sought Puri to join the direction team and it was then, the little boy is allowed into his father’s team. Akash earned a good fame as a child artist, through the films like Chirutha, Bujjigadu etc and he now crossed the age of performing the child artist roles. So, instead of risking his life, making the wrong choice of movies, it seems, Akash took a wise decision, joining in the direction team, isn’t it?Even the top stars like Hrithik Roshan, Sonam Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor etc, started their careers as assistant directors and that knowledge of film making nuances, helped them in churning out themselves as the popular stars today. Hope the same magic takes place with Akash Puri too.By Phani Ch

GHMC polls: TRS did EVM tampering? February 10, 2016 08:09

Opposition party, Congress, is blaming TRS, saying that, it performed some Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) tampering in the recently held GHMC polls and thus scored a huge victory. It is to be remembered that, KTR during the election campaigns said that, TRS is going to win more than 100 seats and to the surprise, TRS scored 99 seats, which is just a seat away from his speculated number. Cornering the IT minister at that point, the Congress officials said that, how come KTR speculated so accurately? That itself says that, the party performed some illegal operations. Reportedly, the state election commission even removed the NOTA option from the voting machines. This itself implies that, the public who came to vote, would have chosen a candidate from the available list of options. Stating that, the TRS clearly performed the EVM tampering, due to which many candidates did not even get the votes, polled by their family members, the Congress party is now planning to encourage even other parties to join them, in cornering the TRS party in the state. Prior to the GHMC polls, the election commission was already in the dock, when many of the Seemandhra voters were apparently removed from the voter list. The Congress party relates this EVM tampering with that of the phone tapping, TRS performed earlier to corner Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and strongly opines that, TRS victory in the GHMC elections is not original. However, a few say that, these are just the baseless allegations, Congress is making, being an opposition party, and a few others say that, the opposition party’s argument cannot be denied completely. BCs will be neglected after Kapus inclusion - BC chief February 09, 2016 17:13

Against the government decision to include Kapus into BCs, a guy named Murali Goud, belonging to BC community tried to commit suicide in Andhra Pradesh.    Protesting against the government, about 100 BC organizations across the state, assembled in a private hotel in Vijayawada and conducted a meeting, which witnessed several controversies. After noticing Murali Goud, who tried to self-immolate, was saved by the BC activists, present in the meeting. During the meeting, the police tried to intervene, but the BC activists continuously raised loud slogans asking police to move back. BC national chief R Krishnaiah, state chief Shankaraiah and several other people related to the BC community, have attended the meeting. They are completely against the inclusion of Kapus into BCs and even warned to declare an open war, if the government makes any activities, regarding its implementation. Speaking to the media, R Krishnaiah said, “Firstly the AP government should make a survey, whether Kapus are in politics, higher employment and rest others and only then, it should decide on the issue. It should even consult all the BCs and inquire their position comparing it with the current Kapus.” Krishnaiah clearly opined that, Kapus are being benefited in all the areas since long and BCs are further getting degraded. He warned the government that, any positive move towards Kapus, without consulting BCs, would result in the serious consequences. When asked that Chandrababu Naidu guaranteed that no existing BCs are going to lose their existing benefits, after Kapus inclusion, denying it Krishnaiah said, “ For education purposes, there are separate groups. But there are no such groups regarding employment opportunities and politics. So obviously in the second category, Kapus will be benefited and BCs will be left as fools.”“Even there are no groups in Central government jobs and again, there is a threat of Kapus taking advantage and stealing all our opportunities,” Krishnaiah saidIt seems, the issue of Kapus Vs BCs is turning violent day by day. At this point of time, the government should take a proper decision quickly, balancing both the communities and solving the sensitive issue carefully, before the situations turn worse. By Phani Ch
