Central Government Sanctions Rs 10,461 Cr To Andhra Pradesh:- The pending bifurcation dues of Andhra Pradesh were released by the central government on Tuesday. Rs 10,461 Cr was released by Union Finance Department assistant director, Mahendra Chandelia under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014 as part of the deficit in revenue for 2014-15. This amount is the compensation towards the revenue deficit of AP created because of Telangana state formation. Some of the funds were released during 2014-19 and the majority of funds were delayed for release even after many requests. Andhra Pradesh advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has welcomed the funds and said that the compensation was given for Andhra Pradesh because of Jagan’s determination and this is the right of the state government and also the responsibility of the central government. This is the largest fund for Andhra Pradesh ever since its bifurcation. The government going to utilize the funds for the development of infrastructural projects and for the welfare needs of the state. After many rumours of BJP support for the YSRCP, this huge amount of funds released has strengthened the significance of YSRCP in the state. Some parts of the country are worried about funds for Karnataka. As Karnataka people pushed BJP out of the state, the BJP-led central government has shifted focus to Andhra Pradesh and might stop funds to Karnataka.

Bengaluru Rains Turns into A Nightmare:- After a torrential downpour of 3cm approximately for an hour created havoc across Bengaluru on Sunday afternoon. At several places, there is waterlogging, notable at KR Circle and Seshadripuram. A 22-year-old Infosys employee died after her MUV was drowned when she was travelling along with her five relatives at the KR Circle underpass. She was stuck in neck-deep rainwater and died. The death toll was raised to 5 in 48 hours. A 31-year-old Lokesh Kumar who was standing near the drainage and watching the rise of water suddenly falls into it and die. A 40-year-old two-storey building at Doddabommasandra was demolished by the BBMP officials after it caved out due to heavy rain. Many areas around the city were uprooted by trees and water logs around the road are troubling the vehicles. Rescue teams are helping many and have saved an elderly man and a woman, who was stuck in the water clogs. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted the rains with thunderstorms will continue. The intensity of the rainfall will only decrease on the 25th of May and Karnataka to have heavy rainfall till the 27th of May. On the other side of the country, Delhi has its hottest day at 46 degrees Celsius causing strains to the power grid.

Avinash Reddy Bail Hearing: SC Disappointed With HC:- Supreme court on Tuesday directed Telangana High Court to place YS Avinash Reddy's anticipatory bail petition before the vacation bench on May 25th. Avinash Reddy is currently in Hyderabad looking after his ill mother, who complained of chest pain while she was organising her morning prayers. Supreme Court was disappointed with the High Court’s delay in anticipatory bail decision. This happened while the Supreme court was hearing a petition filed by Suneetha Reddy challenging the decision of the Telangana high court. YS Avinash Reddy's advocate appealed to the court that Telangana High Court has listened to the hearing on the anticipatory bail plea for two days and then adjourned it to June 5th. SC judge questioned HC, It is just an anticipatory bail and why you (High Court) are taking too long time to pass a judgement on the anticipatory bail plea? The high court heard the matter twice in April and they dint conclude it as the court was heading for vacation. Apex court has set a deadline to June 30th and asked to give a conclusion before that. YS Avinash Reddy skipped CBI inquiry for the last three times due to his mother’s illness. Suneeth Reddy's advocate Siddharth Luthra mentioned the same before the court. He said, Avinash Reddy was summoned three times by CBI and he skipped attending on flimsy grounds. Avinash Reddy is allegedly facing a probe on YS Vivekananda Reddy's murder case.

A case has been registered by IPS officer Rahul Hegde on Dimple Hayathi and her boyfriend Victor David at Jubilee Hills Police Station. Dimple and Rahul reside in the same apartment. They had many quarrels in the parking area of the apartment complex. Dimple has created a ruckus and also allegedly damaged Rahul’s car at the parking slot by ramming her car into Rahul's official vehicle. She and her boyfriend also have misbehaved with constable Chetan Kumar. A complaint was filed based on police officer driver Kumar, who alleged that they intentionally damaged the car regularly. A case has been filed under section 41(a) of CRPC on Dimple and Victor. Dimple responded to the allegation. The theatres were jam-packed with fans and more than 1200 shows were organized across. There were early screenings across South India and the USA. Simhadri was the second collaboration of NTR and Rajamouli and the film was the first blockbuster for the hero.
