Time to think about another CM for AP? June 03, 2015 13:54

“Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, tried to bribe TRS MLAs and he is the key person behind Revanth Reddy scam, we even have the evidence to prove it”, Nayini said.   Revanth Reddy scam has created a terrific torture to the TDP party and especially to Naidu. Now adding more petrol to the flame, Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Telangana minister, Nayini said, “I have all the evidence to prove Chandrababu as a culprit. He tried to bribe the TRS MLAs during the MLC elections, regarding this, he even made a phone conversation with the concerned MLAs.” Substitution for Naidu as AP CM? If the above allegations on Naidu turns true, then the position of the AP state would be a big question, as Chandrababu would be behind the bars for a good number of years. Who can substitute Naidu as a CM in AP then? Would it be his own son Lokesh?, as the age is less, he might not be considered for such a responsible position. Then, it must be Balakrishna, as he once expressed his interest to sit on the CM chair.  If Balakrishna is offered to occupy the chair, then the Nandamuri legacy would continue on the chair for the years, which might completely spoil the relations among Nara and Nandamuri families. On the other side, Balakrishna does not have much experience in politics, so leaving the other senior politicians in the party, he might not be offered too.  But, all these take place only when the evidence of Nayini comes out and proves to be true. Few of the political critics even opine that, if at all, Nayini really possess the evidence, there would not be any need for him to tease the media and might have released it immediately. Therefore, Nayini might be doing all these, just to create a fear in the TDP party.   By Phani

More States Order Tests on Maggi now June 03, 2015 13:48

Nestle shares dipped nearly 10% on Wednesday morning after the Central Government of India declares that Maggi Noodles are unsafe as they contain high content of lead and mono-sodium glutamate or MSG, a taste enhancer. The Delhi government clarifies that out of 13 packs it tested, 10 packs are found to be unsafe with high lead content. The Government has sent summons to the higher officials of Nestle India and decided to file a case against Nestle "for sale of an unsafe product" and is also considering a fine for "misbranding," as it found five samples with MSG, without a declaration on the label. While the Delhi BJP unit chief Satish Upadhyay demanded that Maggi be immediately recalled from Delhi markets, the state Health Minister Satyendra Kumar Jain said, "The government will initiate action and will follow the legal course. Adulteration of any kind in food will not be tolerated." Many other states including Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Maharashtra, and Gujarat are now about to test Maggi. On the other hand, Kerala has ordered a pullout of Maggi noodles from about 1300 government-run outlets, until the junk food is proved to be safe.  However, Goa's Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) confirms that the Maggi noodles samples it tested were found to negative for MSG and lead content and thus safe for human consumption.

World’s first murder victim found? June 03, 2015 13:32

It seems like the Scientists have cracked the mystery of the murder which was done 4,30000 years ago.  In an underground cave system in Spain, the skeletal remains of 28 individuals are found. From the study of the archaeological department, it was heard that, they are of Middle Pleistocene time period which is almost 430000 years ago.  The researchers further said that, the wounds found on the skull also offers an evidence of the earliest funerary practices in the archaeological record.  The other mysterious thing is, the underground cave system where the bodies are found, has only a single access, which is through a 13-metre deep vertical shaft. Through that minor shaft, how can the humans arrive into it, is a question now.  "This is really good evidence for an intentional role for humans in the accumulation of bodies at the bottom of this pit and suggests the hominins from this time period were already engaging in complex cognitive behaviours," a few of the intellectuals opined.    By Phani

Corruption free India became the attractive investment destination June 03, 2015 13:03

A dynamic and strong leadership at the Centre and reliable central banking institutions, has made India to be an "attractive investment destination" in the past one year, a top American investor banker said today. "India is perhaps one of the nicest stories from an investment perspective. You have strong leadership, both at the government and at the Central Bank. But you also have a lot of tail wind," Gerardo Rodriguez, head of emerging market multi-asset strategies at Blackrock told. "This (India) is a story where we are seeing the benefits of lower commodity prices that can benefit the world. So clearly you have now monetary policy action on the back of some space that was created by a more benign inflation environment with lower oil prices," he said. The banker pointed out that "a reform momentum" and"some tail winds from the monetary policy side" are helping the country to become "a very attractive investment proposition both from equity and fixed income perspective". "There was some revision in the numbers just recently in India. So we need to sort out and  rescale that in order to see what the right comparison to China is. It is really hard to think that India is actually growing faster than China. But ultimately in a low nominal growth environment," he noted. "Well, absolutely yeah. The story of an emerging market is that individual countries are getting to a certain scale in which it will be harder to talk about them as a group. They're very different in nature politically and economically," he said. "And because of that it sort of makes more and more sense to talk about the possibilities of domestic-driven growth, especially on the back of reform momentum as the case of India. That's pretty much the dominant narrative in emerging economies," he added. Investment towards India was in shambles during the regime of the UPA government, due to corruption and red tapes. The Modi government was able get away from the red tapes and gave a new confidence to the investors. It is a notable thing to highlight that during the one year of governance, even the opposition has not raised any allegation of corruption against the government. This has given credibility to the government to attract more FDI into the country. The foreign policy of the government has made it easy for the investors to do business with India. The government’s many initiatives like Make in India has attracted many business entities from other countries to invest in India. The government has displayed a clear cut policy and business friendly atmosphere which has become a hit to attract more FDI. The visionary government’s these policies will help in generating more job opportunities for the educated youth. By Premji

Pakistan’s laments on India’s conditions for peace talk June 03, 2015 11:51

Islamabad has called external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj's call for creating violence-free environment for talks as ironical and blamed India for ceasefire violations, rights abuses in Jammu & Kashmir and subversive activities in Pakistan. Pakistan is a rogue country which has a dubious nature of crying as a victim of terrorism and its Army and ISI train, support and host terrorists. "When India keeps violating ceasefire along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary, indulges in worst human rights violations against helpless Kashmiris and undertakes subversive activities in Pakistan, then asking Pakistan to create an environment free of violence only sounds ironical," Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's foreign affairs and national security advisor, Sartaj Aziz, told. The statement of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's foreign affairs and national security advisor, Sartaj Aziz is seen as a laughable on, when compared with the reality. "Pakistan has conveyed to India that it remains committed to dialogue, provided India is ready. Pakistan believes in a sustained, comprehensive and result-oriented dialogue," he said. Pakistan is preparing to hold elections in Gilgit-Baltistan in J&K, which India has described as an attempt by Pakistan to "camouflage its forcible and illegal occupation of the regions''. India has reiterated its territorial right over the Gilgit-Baltistan region, “Our position is well known. The entire J&K, including the regions of Gilgit and Baltistan, is an integral part of India,” spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Vikas Swarup said. "We are concerned at the continued efforts by Pakistan to deny the people of the region their political rights, and the efforts being made to absorb these territories,'' he added. "The fact that a Federal minister of Pakistan is also the "Governor of Gilgit Baltistan" speaks for itself. Unfortunately, in recent times the people of the region have also become victims of sectarian conflict, terrorism and extreme economic hardship due to Pakistan's occupational policies," added the official. Pakistan should invariably get out of the region and allow the people of PoK to exercise their will to be an integral part of Hindustan. “For the first time, India has objected the issue of Gilgit - Baltistan in a firm way. According to Pakistan, Gilgit-Baltistan was a settled issue. India has rejected this move of Pakistan. Pakistan is trying to be clever by holding elections in Gilgit-Baltistan, even though the assembly does not have municipal power. India is absolutely right to protest,” Defense expert Sushant Sareen told. By Premji

Another TDP minister in fresh controversy June 03, 2015 11:09

A lady who has come to TDP minister Peethala Sujatha house, left a bag consisting of Rs.10 lakhs and a DSC hall ticket. Be it the scheme of oppositions or his own fate, Revanth Reddy is finally behind the bars. The heat of the news had not even cooled yet and immediately, another minister from TDP was dragged into the fresh controversy.  TDP alerted with Revanth Reddy arrest! Right from the Revanth Reddy’s arrest, most of the TDP party members understood that, it is the scheme of the opposition parties to target Revanth. With this incident, the party members are alerted to be careful about their activities with the strangers and the oppositions. The alertness can be understood by the way, minister Peethala Sujatha reacted towards the cash bag, she found in her house. On Tuesday, a lady went to the minister’s house, to plead her about the DSC job. But fortunately, Sujatha was not present in the house at that time and so, the lady left the place. Later, the servant in the house noticed a bag, where she found Rs.10 lakhs of cash, upon opening it.  The minister who came to know about it, complained it to the police. The officials registered the case and are now investigating it now. The details of such investigation are yet to be known.  Analysis: If the lady really intends to plead job, is it necessary to leave the cash bag at the minister’s place. From this, it can be concluded that, it is purely the scheme of some political oppositions. By Phani
