By this, experts suggest that wearing the appropriate shoes for the appropriate occasion and being aware of one's surroundings are good ideas. “Although high-heeled shoes might be stylish, from a health standpoint, it would be worthwhile for those interested in wearing high-heeled shoes to understand the risks and the potential harm that precarious activities in high-heeled shoes can cause,” said lead investigator Gerald McGwin, Ph.D., vice chair and professor of the Department of Epidemiology in the UAB School of Public Health.Between 2002 and 2012, there were 123,355 high heel related injuries are seen during this period. The peak year for injuries was 2011, with more than 19,000. Highlights of Mahanadu May 27, 2015 16:26

‘Mahanadu’ is being held in Hyderabad and the speech given by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister drew huge applauses among the party members.Naidu said, “the party is very young and thus has the ability to do anything. The recent governments are announcing food and house schemes, but those are announced by NTR long back, the future of India can be known from the development programmes of TDP party.  TDP cares party workers- Naidu“A Rs.2 lakh worth insurance is given to TDP workers, it is the first party in India to implement this type of scheme. Under Congress government, 24000 farmers committed suicide, but the government is not concerned about it”, Naidu said.AP and Telangana are my two eyes- Naidu“In 2004, we wanted the states to be united and participated in the elections with that motto. But in 2009, we understood the problems of Telangana residents and thus wished the states to bifurcate and the same was put in a letter and was sent to the center. But, I even asked that I can manage both the states, but Congress laughed at me, but I still feel the same, both the Telugu state people are my two eyes, no opposition can threaten us,” he further added.  “We have a government at the center who can work with us for the development of the state. Whatever the developmental programmes the party implements, it will make sure that it benefits the people of both the Telugu states. After Gujarat, it is Hyderabad which was in worse condition once. The development of it was the effort of TDP government.”Naidu reminded,  “AP has a sea which was spread over 974 kms. So the people who live nearer to it has an every scope to develop than the people who are far. So there is no scope for any farmer suicides as the government is making proper plans basing the sea.”Amaravathi renamed as ‘Amaravati’:“During the bifurcation of the states, no one suggested any capital city, but it was TDP who decided that Amaravathi would be the right place for it. To have the goosebumps just on hearing the name, the spelling of it was modified to ‘Amaravati’. This would be the proudest Capital city in India, I assure that, but I need the support of all the people either through money, material or labor”, Naidu pleaded.YSRCP in Red sandal smuggling- NaiduNaidu said that, it is openly proven that YSRCP party is involved in Red sandal smuggling, so it is going to be out of the country very soon.On the other hand, he said that there are plans going on in the party to contest for elections in more states along with AP and Telangana. The craze of TDP among the public is the reason behind this, he said.   By Phani
