Andhrawishesh view:   Who saw the suicide note first? How did they get it? Is it they who struck off the names? If so why? Are they the culprits or their supporters of such culprits in Rishiteshwari case? If they are culprits, they might have destroyed the entire suicide note, instead of just striking off the names. On the other side, is Rishiteshwari herself struck off the names for leaving the culprits out of mercy? If the answers for all the questions are found out, then the actual truth comes out. Hope the officials carry on the investigation in that way.By Phani

RBI has not announced any rate changes August 04, 2015 14:09

Reserve Bank of India on today kept its policy rates unchanged, while the governor Raghuram Rajan said that the headline inflation is at elevated levels and banks are yet to pass on the full benefits of previous rate cuts. The repo rate will continue to be at 7.25 percent and the cash reserve ratio will remain at 4 percent.Rajan said, "Some food prices, particularly of protein-rich items, pulses and oilseeds have risen sharply in recent months. They will have to be carefully monitored as they tend to be sticky and impart an upward bias to inflation and inflation expectations. This assumes significance in view of households’ inflation expectations rising again."The RBI Governor talked about the possibility of taking away the veto rights from the Governor to a committee. "There are three virtues of taking away the veto rights from from Governor and giving it to a committee. We have been supporters of this committee. We have been engaged with the Government. The structure should ensure continuity in policy. The Government and the RBI have reached a broad consensus on what the committee should look like and what the role of the Governor would be," Raghuram Rajan said.Regarding MPC, the details will be made public when the govt feels comfortable and I think we should wait till then rather than talk about the details.  I will only talk about the veto issue which has gained some public discussion. Currently the situation is that Governor has the veto. That means effectively all advice is only advice, ultimately the decision is that of the governor's. So if we continue to keep the veto it doesn't change the current situation, it maintains the status-quo, Rajan said."Our focus is on, how can we resolve stress on power distribution companies which will make power purchases more effective," Rajan said. "Our attempt is to get projects back on track. Banks need to face reality, take medicine and don't push it to the future. We are for allowing banks flexibility not forbearance," Rajan said.“We have already done a lot internally in the past, in my term and before, to institutionalise the process and having scheduled meetings with different constituencies before the policy decision. Having serious discussions with internal staff based on incoming economic data and based on our model analysis and speaking with the government to obtain its viewpoint. The final policy is usually a consensus arrived at by the governor, the deputy governor incharge of the monetary policy and the executive director incharge of the monetary policy. But ultimately the responsibility is the governor's,” Rajan saidBy Premji

The moral policing has been unleashed by banning porn sites. Even CJI refused to ban porn sites, stating it may infringe upon fundamental rights. It said that the apex court cannot ban an adult from viewing porn in the privacy of four walls. But the government has come forward and blocked 857 sites. In reality, even when the ban is in place, there are ways to access these sites. The blocking of these sites will prompt users to find alternate ways to access these sites. There are enough of alternate options available in the internet.Few of these options are through VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), using proxies, torrents, etc.VPN services will allow its users to ‘tunnel their internet connection out of India privately at no extra long distance cost to access content that is otherwise blocked in India’, points out VPN Compare. The best VPN providers for accessing an unrestricted internet site in India are IPVanish, VyprVPN and ExpressVPN. To access these services, a user has to simply download the provided software or app and connect to any country outside of India. After this is done, any website viewed on the Internet will be encrypted. Users in India can access any website which includes adult material or anything else as well.Another way to access these sites are through proxies. A number of proxy websites, including HideMyAss, Free Proxy and inCloak allow users to bypass an internet service provider’s internet protocol (IP) address and connect to any website. Social networking sites such as Reddit, DailyMotion and VKontakte also host a variety of pornographic material.Using torrents is also a way to access these sites. Users can try downloading porn via torrents. It will take longer duration and occupy a large amount of space on the hard drive as well.Porn sites have its own merits and demerits. On one side it plays a vital role in easing out the sexual hallucinations, but on the other side it invokes sexual fantasies. Non-availability of these sites may trigger an exodus of sexual fantasies which may affect the society in the long term.
