Asking phone tapping call data is illegal- T govt. in HC July 29, 2015 09:27

Telangana government said that it is illegal to ask the call data of the phone tapping issue and regarding this, the government approached high court. The phone tapping issue, which is silent for a few days, again came into the news. It is known that, Telangana government is alleged that, it leaked the phone conversation of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana nominated MLA Stephenson. Naidu was alleged that, he tried to convince Stephenson to buy the vote in Telangana MLC elections, held at that time. Regarding this, Naidu and other TDP officials said that, the voice in the phone conversation is duplicated. When the issue went viral, Naidu even approached Prime Minister Narendra Modi and demanded a probe into the phone tapping issue. ‘T’ telecom operators are targeted in phone tapping issue since then: The AP officials took the case as challenging and started investigating it from all the corners. It was then, the Telecom operators of Telangana are targeted and inquired. As per the demand of the AP officials, the Telecom operators agreed to submit call data of phone tapping case, but asked a quality time for it. On the other side, the Telangana government is pressurizing Telecom operators, not to submit the Phone tapping case call data.But on July 7th, Vijayawada Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) released a circular ordering the Telecom operators to submit call data. Reacting to this, Telangana government said that it is illegal to ask the call data and regarding this, Principal Secretary (General Administration Department) of the Telangana government, Ajay Mishra filed a petition in High Court. SC gives positive hope to Yakub Memon July 28, 2015 17:36

Supreme Court judges give a positive hope to Yakub Memon saying that, there is no such valid reason to reject Yakub’s bail plea.   It is known that Yakub Memon’s tentative date of hanging might be on July 30th. Many of the officials opined that, he will be hanged on that day itself.Yakub Memon’s bail plea was rejected in the past, even by the Supreme Court and it is now, he is left with no option to protect himself from being hanged. Taking out this point, Yakub said, “it is illegal to issue a death warrant, after I lost all the legal options.” In fact, not only Yakub, several others objected Yakub death sentence and regarding this, Salman is already in the news.   Adding to this, lawyers on Yakub behalf said that, judges who ordered death sentence to Yakub, should have been part of the bench, that decided Yakub’s curative petition. To discuss about the case, two Supreme Court judges, asked the Chief Justice of India to take a call. Regarding this, Chief Justice HL Dattu has set up a larger bench, which has only one day to decide on Yakub. Yakub Memon should be hanged for sure - a SC judge Speaking on the issue, Justice Anil Dave, one of the judges took out a Sanskrit quote saying: "If the king doesn't punish the guilty with red eyes, then the entire sin will come on the king", implying that Yakub should be hanged for sure. Yakub’s curative petition is not dealt properly- another SC judge On the other side, Justice Joseph agreed that, Yakub’s curative petition was not dealt properly and wished to cure the defect. One day left to decide on Yakub’s death sentence However, there is not more time left to decide about Yakub Memon case, whether to be hanged or not, as the court had already declared that, the execution would be on July 30th. Type 1 diabetics linked to dementia, study revealed July 28, 2015 15:35

Type 1 diabetes patients are at greater risk of developing dementia, according to a study performed by the lead author Rachel Whitmer. To find this, the researchers reviewed records of more than 490,000 who were over 60 years old and had no history of dementia as of 2002. They found that 16 percent of the people with type 1 diabetes developed dementia while in the rest of the group 12 percent of people developed the disease.When researchers examined only type 1 diabetes patients by eliminating type 2 patients, they found that four percent more of people with type 1 diabetes than the whole sample developed all-cause dementia which was a real increase in the risk.“Type 1 diabetes is a disease that requires constant vigilance and constant self-care and 83 percent of people suffering from it were more likely to develop dementia as seniors” Rachel noted.The findings will be presented at Alzheimer's Association International Conference, in Washington D.C. and are being viewed as preliminary until published in a peer-reviewed journal.By Lizitha
