Apple Unveils Rental Tool Kit to fix your iPhone:- Apple introduced a rental kit that will let the users to fix their iPhones on their own under the Self Service Repair Program. The rental kit is launched in the USA for now and it would be launched in Europe later this year. The kit comes in various versions as per the iPhone you own. Each rental kit comes with a set of tools that are required to repair the iPhone. The rental kit can be kept with the user for seven days. The rental kit is available through the web portal of the Self Service Repair store. The weekly rental is said to be 49 USD which is equal to Rs 3800. Apple also made rental kids for the different models. The cases of the rental kits are 20 inches wide and 47 inches high. All the models are available in two cases except for the iPhone SE 2022. Apple told that the tool kit weighs 43 pounds which is equal to 19.50 kgs. The rental kit has a heated display removal fixture, heated display pocket, battery press, display press, adhesive cutter, display and back protective covers, screwdrivers, and bits. You have to ship the rental kit soon after your work is done. Apple will charge more if any of the tools are missing or damaged. Apple inspects every tool kit before it is sent to the customers. The Self Service Repair Program was announced in November last year.

Tamil Nadu government orders probe in Thanjavur chariot accident:- In a shocking incident, eleven people have been electrocuted during a religious procession that is held by the temple in Thanjavur. More than 15 people have been injured in the incident. The accident took place after the temple's chariot came in touch with a high transmission live wire and eleven people got killed on the spot. The incident created a sensation across Tamil Nadu and two children were among the dead. A case has been filed and the investigation is going on. More than 50 devotees have been walking on the road near to the chariot when the incident took place. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin ordered a probe in the incident and the Revenue Secretary Kumar Jayant was asked to inquire and submit a report in the Thanjavur chariot incident. The state legislature also adopted a resolution that is moved by the Chief Minister and expressed their condolences for the families of the deceased. The state's Electricity Minister V Senthil Balaji said that the chariot got turned aside due to the heavy weight of the power generator that was attached to it. The upper portion came in touch with a 33kV transmission line. As the chariot was decorated with a metal frame, the upper portion caught fire. Narendra Modi asked the state governments of these states to reduce the Value Added Tax (VAT) on petrol and diesel to work in cooperative federalism in this global crisis. He said that the states are not passing the benefits to the people and they are doing injustice to the neighboring states. Narendra Modi also said that he made a request for West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand to reduce the VAT but the states did not do so.
