KGF: Chapter 2 continues to dominate Box-office:- KGF: Chapter 2 continues to dominate all the markets of its release. Despite new releases, the film emerged as the first priority for the audience. Two Hindi films Runway 34 and Heropanti 2 released but KGF: Chapter 2 collected more than the new biggies. KGF: Chapter 2 also had a super-strong weekend across the Telugu states along with other South Indian states. KGF: Chapter 2 is unstoppable in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. All the shows for the weekend are sold out across these states. In overseas markets too, KGF: Chapter 2 did decent over the weekend. RRR too had a decent weekend in the Telugu states and USA. With no major releases next week, KGF: Chapter 2 will continue its dream run. The footfalls on the weekdays too are good for KGF: Chapter 2. All the new releases ended up as flops. Runway 34 received a decent response from the audience but the weekend numbers are not encouraging

The background score, cinematography and the production values are the strengths of Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The film is made on a budget of Rs 150 crores and the film is announced for May 12th release in Telugu. Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus and GMB Entertainment are the producers. Rashmika gets a challenging role:- Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna is the busiest actress and she has films lined up in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages. The actress will be seen as a Muslim girl in Sitaramam, a love story that is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Dulquer Salman and Mrunal Thakur are the lead actors in this romantic film that is set in the backdrop of Kashmir. Rashmika plays an extended cameo in the film and she essays the role of Afreen, a Kashmiri Muslim girl in the film. She has an intense role assigned and Rashmika did enough homework before she joined the sets of the film. Hanu Raghavapudi says that she has a heroic role in the film. Rashmika has done enough research and she had to go with a different body language. In some of the scenes, she has to emote through the eyes and she did it with perfection told the director. She was all excited and assigned the film immediately after she heard the script and her characterization. Dulquer Salman will be seen in the role of Lieutenant Ram and Mrunal Thakur essays the role of his lady love. Ashwini Dutt is producing Sitaramam on Vyjayanthi Movies banner and the film will hit the screens this year. Rashmika is shooting for Vijay's next film directed by Vamshi Paidipally and she will join the sets of Allu Arjun's Pushpa later this year.

Gopalapuram MLA attacked in Murder Conspiracy:- Talari Venkat Rao, the MLA of the ruling YSRCP from Gopalapuram faced a major setback after he was attacked in his own constituency today by the villagers of G Kothapalli from Dwaraka Tirumala mandal in West Godavari of Andhra Pradesh. Talari Venkat Rao suffered injuries after the people manhandled him. He was facing the heat in the murder case of the village President Ganji Prasad. The body of Ganji Prasad was dumped in the outskirts and the cops are investigating the matter. There are strong speculations that MLA Talari Venkat Rao is behind the murder conspiracy of Ganji Prasad. The MLA was chased and attacked today. The cops rushed to the spot and brought situation to a control. After the brutal murder of Ganji Prasad, the villagers rushed in large amounts and attacked Talari Venkat Rao. The cops arrested couple of people related to the murder of Ganji Prasad and the investigation is going on. Talari Venkat Rao visited to console the kin of Ganji Prasad after which the villagers staged an attack. KCR to skip the Prime Minister's Meeting:- Telangana Chief Minister KCR is unhappy with the Centre after the BJP government failed to grant the MSP for the Telangana farmers in the Rabi season. KCR and the entire leadership of TRS staged protests in the national capital but the Centre never responded. The latest news says that KCR will not attend the joint conference of the Chief Ministers and the Chief Justices of the High Courts that will be chaired and inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting will take place on April 30th in Delhi. The officials' sources said that KCR decided to stay away from the meeting which will be a two days conference. Telangana's Law Minister A Indrakaran Reddy will attend the event from the state. NV Ramana, the Chief Justice of India will chair this meeting. KCR also did not attend the video conference with Prime Minister recently when Modi wanted to review about the Covid-19 situation in the states. TRS and BJP also had a political clash during the Huzurabad Assembly by-election. The paddy procurement issue in the state turned out be a bigger tiff between the parties. The last conference was held on April 24th in 2016. The event is planned to discuss about the challenges in the Indian judicial system. KCR stayed away from both the video conferences of Narendra Modi this year which are planned to discuss about the Covid-19 situation in the respective states. KCR also did not receive Narendra Modi when he landed in Telangana on February 5th to launch the Statue of Equality.
