World Bank chief executive Kristalina Georgieva is all set for her first official visit to India who mentioned the country as the ‘biggest middle income client’ in the world. Kristalina Georgieva revealed that India’s economic growth has a huge impact on the global growth. Kristalina Georgieva will land in Mumbai today and will reach the country’s capital New Delhi on March 1st. Kristalina Georgieva in Mumbai will visit Maharastra CM Devendra Fadnavis and RBI Governor Urjit Patel. Kristalina Georgieva will be meeting Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to discuss about country’s key financial policies. Kristalina Georgieva will also meet many key leaders of the country during her visit. She will be accompanied by Annette Dixon, World Bank Vice President for South Asia.

Madras HC Issues Notices to Palaniswami over Trust Vote February 27, 2017 17:06

Tamil Nadu politics have been taking massive ups and downs after the sudden demise of Jayalalithaa. Things changed ugly after the brat between O Panneerselvam and Sasikala. Finally it was Palaniswami who was asked to take the oath and he is busy engaged with the activities in the state. Here comes a shock after the Madras High Court issued notices to Palaniswami and the state Home Secretary over trust vote. This happened after a plea submitted by Stalin against the trust vote that took place on February 18th in the state’s Assembly. Madras High Court bench lead by Chief Justice Huluvadi Ramesh issued these notices and asked the government to file the counter affidavit at the earliest and it should happen before March 10th. Stalin compared the trust vote to be inappropriate and null.

Natural Star Nani turned out to be a huge surprise across the circles of Tollywood. He scored his sixth hit in a row with Nenu Local and the movie emerged as the biggest hit in the actor’s career. Trinadha Rao directed the film and Dil Raju produced it. Nani signed one more film for Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations and the movie is expected to start rolling from June this year. The movie will be launched officially during May and will be directed by Venu Sriram who directed Oh My Friend in the past. As per the latest news, the movie has been titled Middle Class Abbayi (MCA) and the makers registered the title with the Film Chamber recently. The movie is said to be a romantic entertainer and will have loads of entertainment. The female lead is currently being finalized and Nani will be back from USA after he wraps up the schedule of his next movie Ninnu Kori which is being directed by Shiva Nirvana, a debutant. DVV Danayya is bankrolling the movie which has been slated for July 7th release. Nivetha Thomas is the female lead.

TDP Polit Bureau meeting has been held in Vijayawada yesterday which witnessed all the top leaders and the ministers. The meeting head by N Chandra Babu Naidu discussed about various issues happening in the state and about the capital developments. However the biggest surprise is that Nandamuri Harikrishna made it to the meeting and this happened after years. Harikrishna has been away from the party activities from almost three years. He has been absent even for the crucial party meetings and Mahanadu over these years which revealed out his drift with Chandra Babu. Harikrishna even made several comments on TDP too during this period. However his presence during this polit bureau meeting gained huge response and he even supported Nara Lokesh who is contesting as MLC from East Godavari. Seems like Balakrishna is in plans to bring the whole family on to the same platform to strengthen TDP.

KCR’s Donations not from Taxpayers February 25, 2017 23:08

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao has been busy after the state’s bifurcation and he prayed to Lord Venkateswara for the separate state before the state has been formed. To clear his debts, KCR along with his family and politicians visited Tirumala for the first time recently after turning CM. He donated ornaments worth Rs 5.5 crores to Tirumala Lord Venkateswara which created a small stir. There have been talks that KCR misused the funds. TPM Convener MV Soundararajan released a statement that no funds have been misused from the state. He also made clear that the funds have not been taken from the tax payers fund at all. It was Common Good Fund (CGF) which has been used for this donation and it is used for many Hindu temple donations.
