Anna Hazare will launch campaign against PM Narendra Modi led BJP Government, who had broke his promise over corruption and anti-corruption crusader. He added Narendra Modi has not given any priority to the corruption and no progress on the Lokpal law. Hazare has been planning to gather people for a movement against Modi led central government. However, Anna Hazare has denied to comment over former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former AAP leader Kiran Bedi, who are going to fight hard in forthcoming Delhi Assembly elections. He added Delhi people are going to decided whether to choose Kiran Bedi or Arvind Kejriwal, Why should you all drag me into the muck. According to the sources, Anna Hazare was reportedly rejected Kiran Bedi's move to join in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and he had denied to take her calls earlier this month. The success of 'Run Raja Run' made Sharwanand bounce back to the form and he is gearing up for his next release 'Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju' which is due on February 6th. The latest update we have is, Sharwa reportedly gave nod to director Merlapaka Gandhi of 'Venkatadri Express' fame. According to the sources, Sharwa liked the script narrated by Gandhi and it will go to the floors soon. UV Creations which earlier worked with Sharwa, will be producing this project too. This is a good move by Sharwa for being very choosy and coming up with good, entertaining films. Stop Sex Determination Ads January 28, 2015 18:39

The Supreme Court of India has directed Google, Yahoo and Microsoft's Bing to stop displaying the ads of sex determination in their major search engines based on a Public Interest Litigation filed. The Supreme adjourned the next hearing of this case to February 11 and said, it would detailed instructions regarding this issue. However, the representatives of Google and others argued that if the keywords of the topic sex determination is blocked, all the content related to the topic will not show citing an example of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech on girl child would also not appear. According to the United Nations date, the child sex ratio dropped drastically in India to 918 per 1000 boys in 2011 which was 964 in 1971. Shockingly,  the stats revealed that  the decline was seen in more than two-thirds of the districts in the nation between 2001 to 2011. The NDA government has launched several schemes to increase the child sex ratio while Women and child development minister Maneka Gandhi has announced a price money of Rs 1 crores, if the girl child sex ratio increases.- TVR

Baby born without eyes January 28, 2015 17:56

In a shocking incident, an woman found that her new two weeks old baby was born without eyes. The woman from Arizona state in US is identified as Kelly Lopez gave birth to a boy three months ago. She initially thought the baby's face was swollen as his eyes were always shut the flesh of the cheeks. After noticing that the infant had no eyes, an MRI test was conducted and this confirmed that  the baby was born without eyes. Even the doctors were quite surprised by this, however said the child still had his optical nerve and he can undergo a transplant surgery. “I think we were just in shock. Obviously very upsetting. "I do hope that one day they'll be able to either grow an eye or transplant an eye,” said Kelly Lopez.- TVR

New Censor Chief vows for changes January 28, 2015 16:49

The New Chairperson of Central Board of Film Certification [CBFC] Pahlaj Nihalani vowed to clean up films and make censorship an unquestionable exercise. Nihalani wants to bring down the amount of violence in films  and the use of abusive language too. “I am definitely going to change the way films are censored, so that once a film is given certificate there is no controversy or doubts about its credibility. There will accountability and no room for ambiguity in the censoring process,” said the new Censor chief.The producer turned chairperson also opines that guidelines for censoring of a film were not properly followed and so everytime a big film releases which is based on a social issue, it turns into a controversy. “The dos and don'ts were always very clearly laid out for the CBFC members. But they were never properly implemented. Board members were frequently clueless about the guidelines. One can't blame them,” he added. Pahlaj Nihalani was appointed as the chairperson of CBFC following the resignation of the predecessor  Leela Samson. - TVR

Yepme, a Haryana based online retailing of men and women’s garments and accessories, will be sponsoring West Indies Cricket Team for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 to held in Australia and New Zealand starting February 14th. “We welcome Yepme to the West Indies cricket family of sponsors and partners for the world’s premier cricket event — the ICC Cricket World Cup,” said West Indies Cricket Board commercial manager Nelecia Yeates while announcing 'Yepme' as their new sponsors. However, the deal figures were not disclosed by either West Indies Board or Yepme. Hereafter, West Indies players will be sporting 'Yepme' logo on their outfits. “We are very excited about this sponsorship with West Indies team in the ICC World Cup. Being the third largest sports tournament in the world which will be seen in more than 182 countries, it’s a huge opportunity for Yepme to strengthen its vision as a global brand,” said Sandeep Sharma, founder and chief operations officer of Yepme in a statement. Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor's first look has been revealed from his forthcoming movie 'Bombay Velvet' which is currently going viral in the Twitter world. Director of the film, Anurag Kashyap posted an picture of the Ranbir who was spotted as a cage fighter as he plays the role of a boxer and street fighter by name Johnny Balraj. “Give it up for the Big Shot of #BombayVelvet Johnny Balraj. First look out tomorrow @foxstarhindi@fuhsephantom,” tweeted Anurag along with the image. However, the detailed first look of the film is expected tomorrow. 'Bombay Velvet' is based on Gyan Prakash's book ‘Mumbai Fables’ which shows the making of Mumbai in 1950s and 60s. The film also stars Anushka Sharma, Kay Kay Menon while producer Karan Johar will be seen in a negative role. 'Bombay Velvet' will be hitting screens on May 15th this year.-TVR

Pak teachers taught to kill January 28, 2015 13:24

The government of Khyber Pakthunkhwa province announced that teachers in Peshawar, Pakistan, will be armed and undergo rigorous  training to handle any sort terrorist attack in future. This decision was made in response to the December 16 attack on Peshwar Army school where a group of terrorists killed 145 people including 132  schoolchildren. Altogether there are 35,000 educational institutes in the province and all of them were ordered to increase the security within the premises. The provincial cabinet has decided to allow teachers and other staff members of any college or school to keep their licensed weapon with them so that in case of unexpected attack, they could handle things for five to 10 minutes before the action team steps in. The teachers are taught how to use various handguns and other weapons as well as the how to take cover before returning fire.However, there is a huge outrage in allowing teachers to carry weapons with them. Critics warned that this move could put children in more danger while it could have an impact on a teacher's performance. On the other hand, private schools and educational institutes have been issued strict guidelines to have guards within the school premises  or else, the license of schools could be revoked.- TVR

Seems like the makers have zeroed upon Swathi for the lead role. Swathi is being very selective these days and is coming up with films that are completely unique in terms of script. Though she came up with only one film in 2014, i.e, 'Karthikeya,' it met with good reviews and is one of the biggest hits of 2014 too. According to the sources, Swathi is yet to be approached for the sequel of 'Geethanjali' and is expected shortly. SRK to promote Bengal Tourism! January 28, 2015 10:49

Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan will be promoting West Bengal tourism and soon he will feature in a campaign, added a top official of the tourism department. Shah Rukh is already the brand ambassador of the state  and also owns the IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders. He has very cordial relation with West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee.“We are working on new advertisements to promote tourism in the state and attract both domestic as well as foreign tourists here and may feature Shah Rukh Khan in this,” said the tourism principal secretary. The new commercial will be ready in next three months and would cost around Rs 10 crores without any endorsement from any brand ambassadors. West Bengal is aiming to increase its tourism revenues by at least 10 percent every year and according it has sketched out few strategies and allocated a budget of Rs 1950 crores in the coming three years.- TVR
