16 Rajasthan state ministers received threatening emails from terror group, Indian Mujahideen and warned of massive strikes on Republic Day i.e, January 26th 2015. All the mails got delivered to the official mail accounts of the ministers and the police have started the investigation process. This mail came days after the Union Home Ministry's warning to states about terror attacks in the view of Republic Day.
The email sent from the mail id 'Leonazarda' said, “We are from the Indian Mujahideen, be prepared, we are going to give a BIG BANG surprise. There will be many blasts in Rajasthan and the date of action is 26th January.” With this email, Rajasthan government has given a red alert all over and asked the police department to make tight security arrangements for the Republic Day celebrations
The police are also trying to verify whether the mail sent is a hoax or not. Rajasthan government has assured that it will provide full security to the state and make sure normalcy continues.
