Atlast a sign of relief in Uttar Pradesh as the government has decided to establish Fast Track Courts in the state for increasing crime against Women which caught the attention of the nation. The Uttar Pradesh cabinet gave a green signal to this on Friday meeting and also sought Chief Justice of India approval. The government will grant Rs 15.15 crores for this courts every year for their operations.

Sources say that Chief Justice accepted the proposal of UP government and cabinet formally giving nod is routine process. UP state has been hit by rapes and crime against women over the last few months. Rape and hang of sisters created a storm and while the government's irresponsible remarks on crime also brought huge criticism to the Samajwadi party.

Lately, the UP government has opened the eyes but the opposition parties claimed that Akhilesh government made this decision in view of by-elections.
